Angela Cools is the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Assistant Professor of Economics at Davidson College. She teaches courses in labor economics, gender economics, introductory economics, and intermediate microeconomic theory.
- Ph.D. and M.A. in Economics from Cornell University
- B.A. in Economics from Pomona College
Her research focuses on intersections between labor markets, gender, family dynamics, and the economics of religion. Recent work examines sibling/peer impacts on women’s educational attainment and earnings, alongside religious scandals’ effects on charitable giving.
