Angela Blair is a Lecturer in the Risk Management and Insurance program at the CU Denver Business School. With over two decades of experience at State Farm Insurance and eight years in healthcare at Highmark Health, she specializes in risk management, insurance, and human resources. She holds an MBA from the University of Illinois and a BA in Finance from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
Her expertise includes leadership development, diversity initiatives, and talent management. She has led HR diversity programs, executive leadership development, and workforce initiatives. Angela is certified in insurance, change management, Six Sigma, and DEI.
Community involvement includes the American Diabetes Association, CPCU Society IDEA Committee, SHRM, and ATD. She teaches both graduate and undergraduate courses, focusing on integrating industry experience with academic instruction.
