Univ.-Prof. Anette Baldauf is a Professor of Methodology and Epistemology at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna, serving as co-director of the artistic research program PhD in Practice. She holds a sociological background from The New School University in New York, with a focus on urban and cultural studies. Her research examines colonial traces in Europe, transcultural research ethics, and artistic methodologies. She has led projects such as Spaces of Commoning (2014–2016) and DisPossession (2018–2021), exploring urban commons, post-participatory aesthetics, and land pedagogy.
