Prof. Dr. Hab. Aneta Lewińska is Professor of Applied Polish Studies at the University of Gdańsk's Institute of Polish Philology. Her research examines communication barriers affecting children with migration backgrounds in Polish educational settings, aiming to develop inclusive pedagogical approaches for multilingual classrooms.
With expertise spanning psycholinguistics and historical linguistics, she investigates Polish language acquisition processes among migrant populations and regional language variations in contemporary Pomerania. Her recent work focuses on developing assessment methodologies for the State Certificate Examinations in Polish as a Foreign Language.
Publications include analyses of rural school chronicles (1920-1989) and studies on educational challenges in multicultural environments. Prof. Lewińska has taught Polish studies at Harbin Normal University in China and established exchange programs with multiple European institutions.
