Andy Quilty is a Lecturer in Fine Arts at the University of Western Australia (UWA), affiliated with the UWA Design School's Discipline of Fine Arts. He holds a Master of Fine Arts (2024), Diploma in Graphic Design (2007), and Bachelor of Arts (2003). His practice focuses on outer suburban experiences, combining material and psychological expressions to explore suburban identity. He actively engages in community arts through workshops in schools, Aboriginal art centers, and prisons.

Research Interests: Andy’s work bridges art and sociology, investigating how outer suburban environments shape creative expression. Collaborations with Indigenous art centers and prisons highlight his commitment to accessibility and social engagement.
