معرفی
Andy Hammerlindl is an Associate Professor in the School of Mathematics at Monash University. His research focuses on dynamical systems, particularly partially hyperbolic dynamics, ergodic theory, and geometric structures in topology. He has led and contributed to projects funded by the Australian Research Council (ARC), including investigations into non-hyperbolic dynamics and blender phenomena. His work bridges theoretical mathematics with computational methods, analyzing complex systems like heterodimensional cycles and Seifert fiberings. Key achievements include classifying partially hyperbolic surface endomorphisms and exploring mixing properties in skew products.
Hammerlindl has held the Kalman Visiting Fellowship (2017) and serves as a lead investigator on multi-year ARC grants. His research spans over two decades, with notable contributions to ergodic components analysis and the structural stability of diffeomorphisms. He collaborates internationally with institutions and researchers across dynamical systems and geometry. Current projects aim to advance computer-aided proofs in non-hyperbolic dynamics.
Publications highlight advancements in manifold structure analysis, dynamical incoherence, and quantitative mixing. His work often integrates topological and analytical techniques, addressing both foundational theory and applied computational challenges in dynamical systems.
