Andy Farber is a Lecturer of Jazz Studies and Arranging at Purchase College's Conservatory of Music. He is also on the faculty at Juilliard since 2010, teaching jazz composition and arranging, and serves as the music director of the BMI Jazz Composers Workshop since 2015. A renowned jazz composer and arranger, Farber has collaborated with legendary figures such as Jon Hendricks and Wynton Marsalis, leading ensembles like the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra and his own 16-piece Andy Farber Orchestra. His work spans collaborations with artists including Tony Bennett, Lady Gaga, and major orchestras globally.
