Andy Bradshaw is a Research Fellow at the Cicely Saunders Institute of Palliative Care, Policy & Rehabilitation. His research focuses on advancing palliative and end-of-life care through digital implementation strategies, addressing social class disparities in healthcare and education, and understanding policy impacts. He is a Co-Investigator in the Marie Curie Cancer Care-funded project The Take-up Study: Understanding and improving benefit take-up towards the end of life (2023–2025).
Bradshaw’s work integrates mixed-methods approaches, examining topics such as advance care planning systems, socio-economic barriers in healthcare access, and pandemic responses in palliative care. His recent publications highlight innovations in digital health tools and critiques of higher education policies neglecting social class dynamics. He collaborates internationally on studies analyzing care home preparedness and palliative care equity.
