Dr. Andy A. Tsay is a Professor of Business and Analytics at Santa Clara University's Leavey School of Business, specializing in the Information Systems & Analytics (ISA) department. He holds a Ph.D. from Stanford University's Graduate School of Business, an MS in Engineering, and a BS in Mathematical & Computational Science, all from Stanford. His research focuses on global supply chain resilience, outsourced supply chain management, and strategic sourcing, with an emphasis on mitigating disruptions from geopolitical conflicts and natural disasters. He has consulted for Silicon Valley firms and Chinese enterprises, and his work is frequently cited by global media like the Financial Times and CCTV.
Dr. Tsay has over 40 publications in top-tier journals, including Management Science and Production & Operations Management, and his research has been cited over 8,800 times.
