Andrija Stanimirovic

Andrija Stanimirovic is a Visiting Professor in the Department of Dermatology and Venereology at the School of Medicine, University of Zagreb. He holds a PhD in Pathology from the University of Zagreb and has served as Full Tenure Professor at the University of Applied Health Sciences, Zagreb since 1998. His academic career includes roles such as Adjunct Senior Lecturer (1992–2014) and various editorial board memberships.

Research interests focus on dermatological disorders including vitiligo, psoriasis, hair disorders, and phototherapy. He leads clinical trials involving anti-aging strategies, topical formulations, and biologic therapies. Recent work emphasizes cannabinoid-based treatments, vitamin D therapy, and antiviral drug applications.

As a globally recognized expert, Dr. Stanimirovic has been honored with prestigious awards such as International Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology (2000) and Vicepresident of the Croatian Psoriasis Association (2011).
