Dr. Andrey L. Karamyshev is an Associate Professor at the School of Medicine, Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, in the Department of Cell Biology & Biochemistry. His research focuses on molecular mechanisms of human diseases, particularly neurodegenerative disorders and cancer, through the lens of protein synthesis regulation and quality control.
