A.J. (Andrew) Zuidema is a PhD Candidate and Lecturer at the Faculty of Law, University of Groningen. His research focuses on European Union Criminal Law, particularly the European Public Prosecutor's Office (EPPO) and mechanisms for resolving criminal jurisdiction conflicts. He holds an LLB (2016) and an MSc in Criminal Law (2019) from the University of Groningen, with an exchange at Maynooth University. His teaching spans European Political Sciences, International Law, and EU Law.
Research Interests: Andrew’s work bridges legal theory and practice in EU criminal jurisdiction, emphasizing the EPPO’s operational framework and jurisdictional conflicts.
