Andrew Ziaja is a Visiting Associate Professor and Interim Director of the Martin H. Malin Institute for Law and the Workplace at Chicago-Kent College of Law, Illinois Institute of Technology. He previously served as faculty at the University of Baltimore School of Law and held roles in civil litigation, including leading litigation efforts at the National Labor Relations Board. His legal career spans over 15 years in labor law, public service, and ERISA-related advocacy.

His legal practice included representing labor unions, negotiating collective bargaining agreements, and defending employee benefits plans. He has argued before federal appeals courts and state supreme courts. Professional contributions include reports on post-Janus union security and ERISA plan administration.
Currently, he oversees the Malin Institute, which specializes in law and workplace dynamics, blending academic rigor with real-world legal challenges in labor relations.
