Andrew Yim

Andrew Yim is a Senior Lecturer in Accounting at Bayes Business School, University of London. Previously, he held faculty positions at Tilburg University and several Hong Kong universities. His research focuses on profitability forecasting, crypto assets, auditing, and corporate finance. He serves on the editorial boards of Accounting Open and Auditing: A Journal of Practice and Theory. His teaching emphasizes data science, AI, and company valuation.

Education: PhD (Yale University), BSc (Chinese University of Hong Kong).

Research Interests: His work spans profitability modeling, firm valuation, crypto-project analysis, fraud detection, and audit mechanisms. Recent projects include quantile regression for forecasting and strategic network analysis in competitive markets.

Professional Activities: He has reviewed for over 20 journals and conferences, including Management Science and Journal of Economic Psychology. He advises Paul Douglas (Executive PhD in Accounting).

Labs/Teams: Engaged with Bayes' Accounting Group and collaborates internationally on audit policy and crypto-economics research.
