Andrew Wilson is an Associate Professor of Marketing at Suffolk University, where he has served since 2018. Previously, he held an Associate Professor position at Saint Mary’s College of California for nine years. With over 15 years of industry experience in sales and sales management roles, including at Oracle, his career transitioned into academia following his PhD studies. His research focuses on consumer psychology, with publications in top-tier journals such as the Journal of Consumer Research and Journal of Retailing. He earned a PhD in Marketing from York University and an MBA from Santa Clara University.
Wilson’s academic contributions span consumer decision-making, deception detection, and marketing ethics. His work explores topics like the impact of negative word-of-mouth, psychological distance in consumer trust, and occupational stress in marketing roles. He teaches courses like Business Research Methods and Marketing Policies & Strategies, and his insights have been featured in media outlets including Phys.org, KCBS Radio, and The Chicago Tribune.
