Dr Andrew Williams is an Honorary Senior Lecturer in Public Health at the University of St Andrews' School of Medicine, affiliated with the Division of Population and Behavioural Science. He joined in 2020 and focuses on social and cultural determinants of health, particularly among children and young people. His work integrates complexity theory and salutogenesis to improve public health outcomes. He leads work package 1 of the NIHR-funded 'Is 20 plenty for health?' project and collaborates with organizations like the TR14ers community youth dance group and the European Centre for Environment and Human Health.
