Dr Andrew Tan is a Research Fellow at the Health Economics Group within Monash University's School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine. He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Otago and a Master's in International Economics and Finance from the University of Queensland. His expertise spans economic evaluations of healthcare interventions, with a focus on childhood obesity, eating disorders, and modeling techniques. He contributes to UN Sustainable Development Goals related to health and well-being.
Dr Tan leads or collaborates on projects such as the Independent Evaluation of the Supporting Recovery Pilot (SRP) and evaluations of pediatric sleep medicine interventions.
