Andrew Pooley is a Lecturer in Design at the University of Loughborough, specializing in Environments and User Experience Design. He holds a PhD and MA from Loughborough University and a BArch from Nottingham Trent University. He is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA).
His research focuses on domestic behavior analysis, intelligent personal assistants (e.g., Siri), and sustainable technologies. He employs creative research methods to understand householders' attitudes and behaviors, aiming to design interventions for sustainable lifestyle changes.
