Andrew Partington is a Research Fellow at Flinders University and Macquarie University’s Centre for the Health Economy (MUCHE), with additional appointments as an Honorary Fellow at the Australian Institute of Health Innovation (AIHI) and Visiting Fellow at École des hautes études en santé publique (EHESP). His work focuses on embedding economic evidence into healthcare planning through roles in the NHMRC Partnership Centre for Health System Sustainability and as Deputy Editor of the International Journal of Technology Assessment in Health Care. He holds a BComm and BHlthSc (Hons) from the University of Adelaide and is completing a PhD in economic evaluation under Prof. Jonathan Karnon and Prof. Hossein Afzali.

- Research Focus: Health economics, economic evaluation of digital health, health technology assessment (HTA), process mining in healthcare, climate-resilient health systems, and service optimization.
His recent publications highlight Delphi studies for virtual emergency departments, frameworks for early HTA, and systematic reviews on healthcare decarbonization. Scientific awards include the 2016 HSRAANZ Best Paper Award and 2012 ACHSM David Southern Award. Andrew also serves on ethics committees, editorial boards, and professional panels, contributing to policy development and education in applied health economics.
