Andrew Muzyk

Andrew Muzyk is an Associate Professor at Campbell University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and holds an Adjunct Professor appointment at Duke University's Department of Psychiatry. He serves as a clinical pharmacist with the Medicine-Psychiatry treatment team at Duke University Hospital.

Research Interests span health-profession student education, hospital-based medication outcomes, psychiatric pharmacy, and substance use disorder treatment. His work integrates pharmaceutical and clinical sciences in curricular revisions and focuses on medication management for opioid use disorder.

Dr. Muzyk leads education research projects funded by Duke Academy for Health Professions Education, Bass Connections, Josiah Charles Trent Memorial Foundation, Adapt Pharmaceuticals, and Campbell University. He has presented extensively on psychiatric and substance use disorders education and serves as a speaker for North Carolina AHEC.
