Dr Andrew McFaull is a Senior Lecturer in Accounting and Financial Education at King's Business School, King's College London, where he also serves as Director of Undergraduate Studies. He is affiliated with the I-LEAD: Centre for Innovation, Leadership, Education and Development, which focuses on equitable, inclusive, and sustainable improvements in higher education.
His research lies at the intersection of behavioural economics, psychology, and education, with a focus on identifying and mitigating cognitive biases that affect student learning outcomes. He aims to improve educational practices by applying insights from behavioural science to pedagogy and curriculum design.
Andrew has been consistently recognized for his teaching excellence, receiving student-nominated awards and accolades from King's College London, including multiple runner-up positions in the King's Education Awards and honors from the Dean’s Awards for citizenship and educational impact.

Andrew previously worked at the University of Oxford on a financial services research project and served as a Research Fellow in the UK Cabinet Office’s Behavioural Insights Team, where he helped apply behavioural science to public policy. He holds a PhD from the University of York (2017), where his thesis examined the behavioural, economic, and social factors influencing investment decisions in broad-based employee stock ownership plans. He is not currently accepting new PhD students.
