Andrew Mackenzie

Andrew Mackenzie is a Professor of Condensed Matter Physics at the Max Planck Institute for Chemical Physics of Solids. He was born in Scotland in 1964 and studied physics at the University of Edinburgh and the University of Cambridge. His research focuses on condensed matter physics, and he has held positions at various institutions around the world. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society and a Fellow of the American Physical Society, and has received the Mott Medal from the Institute of Physics.
