معرفی
Andrew Leidal is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physiology and Pharmacology at the Cumming School of Medicine, University of Calgary. He holds a full membership at the Calvin, Phoebe and Joan Snyder Institute for Chronic Diseases. His research focuses on autophagy's role in secretion, exocytosis, and their contributions to inflammation and immunity, particularly in chronic diseases.
Research Interests: Dr. Leidal investigates 'secretory autophagy,' a process linking autophagy to intercellular communication. His work bridges molecular mechanisms of autophagy with inflammatory responses, aiming to uncover therapeutic targets for chronic conditions.
