Andrew K. Frank is the Allen Morris Professor of History and Director of Florida State University’s Native American and Indigenous Studies Center. As an ethnohistorian, his work focuses on the history of the Florida Seminoles and the broader Native South, with an emphasis on cultural intersections involving Indigenous peoples, settlers, and enslaved communities.
His research explores long-term historical narratives spanning from ancient Tequesta societies to modern Miami's development.
