معرفی
Andrew Gray is a Research Ecologist with the USDA Forest Service and holds a courtesy faculty position at Oregon State University's College of Forestry, Department of Forest Ecosystems & Society. His research focuses on forest ecology, plant population dynamics, fire ecology, and adaptive management strategies. He has a Ph.D. from Oregon State University (1995), an M.S. from the University of Washington (1990), and a B.S. from the University of Washington (1985).
Key research interests include understanding forest succession patterns, impacts of invasive species, and carbon dynamics in Pacific Northwest ecosystems. His work emphasizes bridging ecological monitoring with practical management applications.
Gray's publications span topics like regional forest carbon inventories, fire severity classification, and inventory methodological improvements. He collaborates with institutions like the Pacific Northwest Research Station and has contributed to policy-relevant reports such as the AB 1504 California Forest Inventory.
