Andrew Flynn is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Education at the University of Greenwich, part of the Faculty of Education, Health and Human Sciences. He holds a BEd (Hons) and is currently pursuing a Master's in Education.
Before academia, Flynn taught in primary schools for nine years, serving as coordinator for Mathematics and Physical Education, and contributed to school leadership teams. He has also mentored teacher trainees through SCITT programs and PGCE courses.
His teaching focuses on Physical Education, Mathematics, Arts in Education, and Child Psychology. His scholarly interests align with his teaching areas, emphasizing practical pedagogical strategies in primary education.
Flynn’s career includes roles such as Mathematics/Physical Education Coordinator at Gordon Primary School (2005–2007) and Mayplace Primary School (1998–2005), where he integrated curriculum development and teacher training.
