Professor Andrew Fleming is Chair in Plant Science at the University of Sheffield's School of Biosciences, leading research on leaf development and guard cell mechanics. His work integrates cell biology, computational modeling, and biomechanical analyses to study plant cellular architecture and its impact on photosynthesis and water-use efficiency.
