Andrew Edelman

Dr. Andrew Edelman is a Professor of Biology at the University of West Georgia, serving as Graduate Program Coordinator for the M.S. Biology Program and Co-director of the Wildlife Ecology Certificate Program. He is affiliated with the School of Field Investigations and Experimental Sciences within the Dr. Perry College of Mathematics, Computing, and Sciences. His research focuses on mammalian conservation, management, and ecology, particularly terrestrial animals such as bats, carnivores, and rodents. He advises the UWG Wildlife Club and actively engages in field-based studies addressing conservation challenges for endangered and small game species.
