Andrew Dymond is a Study Coordinator in the Department of Public Health and Primary Care (PHPC) at the University of Cambridge. His work focuses on cardiovascular epidemiology, particularly the effectiveness and cost-effectiveness of atrial fibrillation (AF) screening programs in general practice (GP) surgeries to prevent strokes and other cardiovascular events.

Andrew's research interests span cardiovascular health, public health interventions, and health services research. He has extensive experience in study coordination, volunteer recruitment, and operational management of observational and clinical trials.
In his current role, Andrew oversees the implementation of screening programs for AF, coordinates physical activity and anthropometric measurements, and contributes to translational research. Previously, he worked with the MRC Epidemiology Unit on informed consent processes and diverse clinical assessments, and led volunteer recruitment strategies at the NIHR Cambridge BioResource.
