Dr. Eduard Shantsila serves as Head of the Department of Primary Care and Mental Health and Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Liverpool's Medical School. He concurrently practices as a General Practitioner at Brownlow Health GP Partnership and as a GP with Specialist Interest in Hypertension at Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital, integrating clinical cardiology expertise with primary care since joining the university in August 2021 after completing GP training in 2020.
His research focuses on holistic cardiovascular care for disadvantaged populations, frailty, and mental health comorbidities, with specialization in hypertension management and digital health applications.
