Andrew Cameron is a Professor at the School of Physics and Astronomy, University of St Andrews, and a founding member of the St Andrews Centre for Exoplanet Science. His research focuses on stellar magnetic fields and extrasolar planet discovery, particularly through radial-velocity and transit methods.
- Education: B.Sc. and Ph.D. in Physics/Astronomy from University of Canterbury
- Key Projects: Principal Investigator for the €9.5m ERC Synergy Grant 'REVEALing Habitable Worlds', Co-I of the WASP project, UK Co-PI for the HARPS-North spectrograph, and member of the CHEOPS satellite science team
