Cullen Blake is an Associate Professor in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Pennsylvania School of Arts & Sciences. His primary research focuses on exoplanet detection around low-mass stars and the astrophysics of low-mass stars and brown dwarfs. He is deeply involved in observational astronomy, developing techniques to detect Earth-like planets and improving stellar characterization through precision radial velocity measurements and synoptic surveys. Blake plays a key role in projects like the NEID Earth Twin Survey and the Brown Dwarf Kinematics Project, leveraging instrumentation such as the NEID spectrograph and robotic telescopes.
