Andrew B Nigra

Dr. Andrew B Nigra is an Assistant Professor at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, where he has taught since 1998. With 27 years of dental experience, he balances private practice ownership and VA Medical Center service. His roles include course director, committee chair, and test constructor for National Dental Boards.

Education: DMD from University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine (1991), BS from Gannon University (1986).

Research interests focus on dental education, clinical practice excellence, and patient-centered care. He actively mentors student organizations like the American Student Dental Association and leads community initiatives such as dental mission trips to Honduras.
