Andreas Jansson is an Associate Professor in accounting and corporate governance at Jönköping International Business School (JIBS), part of Jönköping University. He joined JIBS in 2020 and is a member of the Centre for Family Entrepreneurship and Ownership (CeFEO). He holds a PhD from Växjö University (2007), focusing on minority shareholder coalition formation.
His research examines how institutional norms and logics influence financial accounting practices and corporate governance structures. Key areas include ownership dynamics, media's role in corporate governance, and long-term regulatory changes. He also studies the interplay between reputation, media narratives, and corporate accountability.
Recent articles highlight themes such as digitalization in small business accounting, sustainability reporting frameworks, and media-driven stigmatization of corporate elites.
