Andreas Breiter is a Professor of Applied Computer Science at the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science, University of Bremen, since 2008. He also serves as head of the Institute for Information Management Bremen GmbH, a non-profit research and consulting institute.
Research Interests: His work focuses on the datafication and digital transformation of educational institutions (media skills, e-learning, AI support, organizational development), IT governance, information security management, IT service management, and user-centric information infrastructures.
Recent Publications: His latest research explores ethical principles in collaborative AI ideation, multimodal data exploration on vertical displays, and socio-technical challenges in educational datafication. These works align with trends in AI ethics, data visualization, and critical data studies.
