Prof. Andrea Vasella is a full Professor at the Laboratory of Organic Chemistry, ETH Zurich since 1993. He holds a PhD in Chemistry from ETH Zurich (1971) and has held academic positions at the University of Freiburg (Assistant Professor, 1977–1981) and University of Zurich (Associate Professor, 1981–1987) before leading the Institute of Organic Chemistry at ETH Zurich (1987–1989).
