- Intersectionality of gender and sexual orientation in occupational contexts
- Warmth and competence perceptions across different demographic groups
- Discriminatory behavior in everyday workplace interactions
- Multiple categorization effects in resume screening
Her recent publications demonstrate a consistent research trajectory examining how stereotypes about demographic groups interact with occupational expectations. This work has important implications for understanding and addressing bias in hiring and workplace interactions.
Dr. Strinic completed her doctoral thesis in 2022 titled "Multiple categorization in hiring: The stereotype content model perspective" at Linnaeus University. She is actively involved in research investigating effective measures for promoting diversity in hiring practices through experimental studies conducted in collaboration with various stakeholders.
Her research is conducted within the Department of Social, Work and Organizational Psychology, which focuses on several key areas including recruitment processes, diversity in the labor market, and workplace psychology.
