Andrea Nitsche-Krupp

Andrea Nitsche-Krupp serves as Adjunct Professor at California College of the Arts and Assistant Curator of Media Arts at SFMOMA. She holds a PhD from NYU's Institute of Fine Arts and specializes in contemporary art curation and conservation theory.

Her research focuses on authenticity in art markets, conservation ethics, and exhibition design. Nitsche-Krupp has curated significant exhibitions including the 2022 SECA Bay Area Art Award and co-curated the Nam June Paik retrospective at Tate Modern and SFMOMA.

Publications address conservation challenges in contemporary art markets and theoretical frameworks for preserving ephemeral works. She has contributed to publications for Tate Modern, Katonah Museum, and Astrup Fearnley Museet.
