Andrea Kirk-Brown is an Associate Professor in the Department of Management at Monash University, specialising in Organisational Behaviour with a focus on workplace wellbeing. She combines her academic role with over ten years of clinical psychology experience in public healthcare services. Her research prioritises organisational stress management, social inclusion strategies, and Employee Assistance Programmes (EAPs), particularly in public and private sectors like policing, healthcare, and utilities.
Key projects include leadership roles in WorkWell Expert Reference Group initiatives, psychosocial safety reviews for policing agencies, and addressing social isolation in injured workers. She collaborates internationally on psychological health policy frameworks and has advised organisations such as Sydney Water and the Australasian Police Professional Standards Council.
Her work aligns with UN Sustainable Development Goals, particularly in promoting decent work and economic growth (SDG 8) through interventions enhancing workplace mental health and safety.
