Andrea Guariso is an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics at the University of Milan-Bicocca. He holds affiliations with institutions including Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (JPAL), Trinity College Dublin's TIME unit, Bocconi University's LEAP, and others. His research focuses on development economics, political economics, and health economics with emphasis on randomized evaluations in Africa.

Research Interests: Guariso explores topics such as ethnic diversity impacts, health system innovations, and educational policies in developing economies. His work combines field experiments and applied microeconomic analysis to address poverty reduction challenges.
