Alfredo Burlando is an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics at the University of Oregon and Director of the Master’s Program in Economics. He is affiliated with the Center for Effective Global Action (CEGA), the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL), and Innovations for Poverty Action (IPA). His research focuses on financial inclusion in low-income countries using randomized control trials (RCTs).

Alfredo contributes to academic advising through affiliations with CEGA, J-PAL, and IPA. He leads interdisciplinary initiatives on trial ethics and leverages collaborations with African institutions.
