Andrea Esser

Andrea Esser is a Professor of Media & Globalization at the University of Roehampton, UK. She holds a PhD from London South Bank University and teaches courses on media globalization, TV formats, and intercultural communication. Her research focuses on transnational media dynamics, TV format globalization, and audience reception of non-English dramas. She has led AHRC-funded projects like the Media Across Borders network and consulted for institutions like Sungkyunkwan University on global TV formats.
