Andrea Di Salvo

Andrea Di Salvo is an Associate Professor at the Department of Architecture and Design (DAD) of Politecnico di Torino, where he serves as a member of the Interdepartmental Center PIC4SeR (PoliTO Interdepartmental Center for Service Robotics). He is actively involved in the Master's and Continuing Education School and contributes to doctoral programs.

• Research Focus: Design, Human-Machine Interface (HMI), Interaction Design, and User Experience Design
• Projects: HESTER (High efficiency storage systems for last mile delivery vehicles) and Interaction Design for HMI in automated vehicles

His recent publications explore participatory design processes, data-driven storytelling for territorial analysis, and speculative design concepts. He teaches courses such as Data-Driven Methodologies for Design and Cognitive Ergonomics and HMI across multiple academic cycles and departments.
