Luca Mastrogiacomo

Luca Mastrogiacomo is a Full Professor at the Department of Management and Production Engineering (DIGEP), Politecnico di Torino. He serves as Coordinator of the Collegio di Ingegneria Gestionale e della Produzione and is a member of the Interdepartmental Center PIC4SeR for Service Robotics. His research focuses on Human-Robot Interaction, Quality Engineering, and Manufacturing Technologies.

• Applied Metrology and Measurement Uncertainty

Recent articles analyze gamification in manufacturing, complexity models for human-robot collaboration, and eye-tracking applications in repetitive assembly tasks. His work aligns with ERC sectors PE8_10 (Industrial Design) and PE8_7 (Mechanical Engineering), addressing SDG 9 (Industry Innovation) and SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption).

Scientific awards include multiple Best Paper Awards (2014–2024) from conferences in Portugal, UK, and Italy. He supervises PhD students in Gestione, Produzione E Design and Industrial Engineering programs.
