Andrea Capozzoli is an Assistant Professor in the Voice Department at Berklee College of Music. A multi-instrumentalist vocalist, trumpet player, pianist, songwriter, producer, and arranger, she specializes in jazz and R&B improvisation courses, as well as sight-singing ensembles.
Her research interests and teaching focus revolve around vocal performance, music theory, harmony, ear training, and improvisational techniques within jazz and R&B genres. She emphasizes practical applications through sight-singing and ensemble work.
Andrea has received recognition for her musical excellence, including the Female R&B Artist of the Year award from the New York International Music Festival. Her career includes performances at prestigious venues like The Blue Note and Iridium, as well as festivals across the US and Europe.
