Andrea Burke-Saulnier is an Associate Professor in the Department of Education at Sainte-Anne University and the University of Ottawa. A native English speaker with 26 years of immersion in Nova Scotia's Acadian community, she focuses on French language pedagogy, virtual learning environments, and sociocultural dimensions of education. Her work intersects with Acadian identity, language self-determination, and inclusive francophone practices.

She co-founded the Chantiers d'actions et de recherche pour des Francophonies inclusives (CARFfI) and leads the Parlons avec confiance (PAC) project, emphasizing inclusive language practices and community engagement.
