Andrea Buratti

Andrea Buratti is a Full Professor of Comparative Public Law at the University of Rome Tor Vergata, Department of Jurisprudence. His work focuses on constitutionalism, legal history, and the intersection of law and political theory. He has authored influential books including The Right of Resistance in Western Constitutionalism (2006, Sergio Panunzio Prize winner), Regional Government in Italy (2010), and President and Congress in US Constitution (2012). Recent research explores the role of history in European Court of Human Rights jurisprudence and the constitutional legacy of President Andrew Jackson.
