Andie Ang is a primatologist and conservationist specializing in Asian colobine primates. She holds a Ph.D. in Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Colorado Boulder (2017), along with a BS (2008) and MS (2010) in Life Sciences and Biology from the National University of Singapore. Currently, she chairs the Raffles’ Banded Langur Working Group and serves as a Research Scientist at Mandai Nature Singapore, focusing on endangered primates like the Raffles’ banded langur and white-handed gibbon.

Her research spans the social behavior, feeding ecology, and conservation of primates in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam. She also collaborates with organizations like the Wildlife Reserves Singapore Conservation Fund and the Jane Goodall Institute Singapore to develop educational programs, including Monkey Walks and the Roots & Shoots initiative.
