Anders Mortensen is a Senior Lecturer at the Centre for Languages and Literature, Lund University. His research focuses on fundamental questions about the power and values of literature, with specializations in Comparative Literature, Children's Literature, and Swedish Literature. He has taught literary studies from undergraduate to doctoral levels, impacting nearly 12,000 students since 1986.
- Administrative Roles: Former director of studies, chairman of the teaching board for Film and Literary Studies, and operational manager at the Centre for Scandinavian Studies.
- Current Research: Investigates literary value, romantic economic criticism, and the works of Gunnar Ekelöf.
His recent publications include analyses of Hans Larsson's philosophical and literary practices, explorations of Gunnar Ekelöf's poetry, and contributions to Swedish literary criticism. Mortensen actively participates in academic networks, including the CSS Conference 2022, and plans to continue teaching and publishing on literary values in 2025.
