Anders Götherström

Anders Götherström is a Professor of Molecular Genetics at the Centre for Palaeogenetics, Stockholm University, within the Department of Archaeology and Classical Studies. His research employs ancient DNA to investigate human prehistory, with regional expertise in northern Europe and Anatolia.

His primary research interests include archaeogenetics, population genetics, and the study of ancient human societies. Götherström examines Neolithic and Bronze Age populations, focusing on migration, kinship, and cultural evolution.
